Essay / 01

Words first.
Layout follows.

Editorial rhythm: wide measure, crisp hierarchy, and silence between blocks — the interface is typography. We treat the screen as a page, not a billboard.

Pull quotes and marginal notes reward the reader who scrolls; imagery stays sparse until it earns attention.

Fig. 1 — Space as punctuation

On restraint

Every ornament competes with meaning. We remove until the narrative reads in one breath — then add only what reinforces the voice.

Serif for longform, monospace for metadata, and a single accent that never shouts over the words.

Typography

Optical size and rhythm tuned for screens.

Grid

A calm column that never fights the copy.

Motion

Scroll as a gentle reveal, never a gimmick.
